After a long hiatus from the sport, he returned at the age of 35 and has been passionately involved ever since. “I’ve been organising the games since 1981,” he shared, reflecting on his remarkable journey in local football.
Despite facing personal health challenges, including a heart attack 25 years ago, Leo refused to let anything extinguish his love for the game. His cardiologist advised him to step back, but after a brief break, he was back in action. “I stopped for about two or three months – but I love the game so much, I just had to continue,” he recounted.
