In a tragic turn of events, a 33-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Wayne Reid in Coleraine, County Londonderry. The 43-year-old victim’s body was discovered at a residence in Society Court on 12 January.
According to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), the suspect is set to appear before Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Monday. The 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday, while the other suspects were taken into custody on Friday. Detectives have been granted a court extension to continue questioning three people for an additional 36 hours.
