Two of these girls underwent surgery, while the third was urgently evacuated to Khartoum for further treatment.
The Sudan Doctors Network, a war-monitoring group, was among the first to report the attack, highlighting that the casualties included two educators and a healthcare worker. They underscored that there was no military presence in the village at the time of the strike, further raising concerns about the targeting of civilians.

Dr Razan Al-Mahdi, spokesperson for the medical group, condemned the incident as part of a broader pattern of violations perpetrated by the RSF, which has been implicated in numerous assaults on civilian infrastructure over the past few days, including attacks on a student dormitory and a power station.
