Other former employees echoed De Kraker’s sentiments, expressing discontent with Musk’s management style. Reports from The Verge have highlighted concerns over Musk’s approach to AI safety, with one anonymous ex-employee stating, “There is zero safety whatsoever in the company – not in the image model, not in the chatbot.” This individual claimed that Musk’s perception of safety equated to censorship, implying that a reluctance to voice concerns was necessary for job security.
