In a surprising turn of events, the award-winning event agency Noble Events has been placed into administration, just a year after being acquired by veSpace, an event management and venue sourcing firm. Noble Events was known for delivering high-profile product launches and media events for prestigious brands like Aston Martin and Porsche.

VeSpace had acquired Noble Events out of administration in February 2025, stating at the time that the agency’s “culture, ethos and team spirit absolutely echo our own brand values.” However, it now appears that veSpace has been unable to sustain Noble Events, leading to the company’s latest plunge into administration.

Penny Noble, the founder of Noble Events, has now joined the assembl. group, along with four of her former colleagues. In a statement, Noble expressed her delight at joining the “assembl. team,” praising the group’s “sheer tenacity and energy” and looking forward to contributing to the agency’s growth.

Gavin Farley, the CEO of assembl.group, also welcomed Penny Noble and her team, describing her as someone who “brings experience, integrity, and a spark into any room.” He noted that the new additions would “significantly elevate” the assembl. group’s capabilities.

The collapse of Noble Events is the latest in a series of high-profile business failures in the UK event industry. Earlier this year, a historic UK steel firm and a major construction company both entered administration, shedding hundreds of jobs.

As the economic landscape continues to pose challenges for businesses, the fate of Noble Events serves as a sobering reminder of the precarious nature of the industry. Industry experts will be closely watching to see how the assembl. group integrates the Noble Events team and whether the agency can regain its former prominence in the event planning space.
