In order to access these insights, parents must ensure their children are employing Teen accounts, which are specifically designed for younger users on Meta’s platforms.

The new monitoring tool will initially be available in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, and Brazil, with plans for a worldwide rollout in the coming weeks. This development is particularly timely, as it follows a recent legal ruling in which Meta was ordered to pay $375 million for its failure to adequately protect children from exploitation on its platforms.
