On Wednesday, at approximately 11:16 BST, Metropolitan Police responded to reports of stabbings on Highfield Avenue, just off Golders Green Road. CCTV footage captured the suspect, identified as Essa Suleiman, jogging towards Golders Green Road just before the attack. The recordings show him pursuing one victim before launching a more brutal assault on another man at a bus stop.
As the situation escalated, police were quick to intervene. Video evidence shows officers deploying a Taser to subdue Suleiman after he refused to comply with commands to drop his weapon.
