During a visit to Saudi Arabia in March, he underscored the need for enhanced protective measures in light of the Iranian threat. In the wake of Iranian missile and drone attacks on Gulf states, Ukraine has swiftly signed agreements with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar to share its drone technology. “We want to help Gulf states defend themselves,” Zelensky stated, emphasising the mutual benefits of these partnerships.
