In a significant shift, Pornhub’s parent company, Aylo, has announced that a select group of UK users will regain access to the popular adult site starting today. Following a prolonged restriction that began in February, this move comes as Apple rolls out a new age verification feature within its latest iOS update, allowing eligible users to navigate Pornhub once more.
A Welcome Change for Some Users
Back in February, Pornhub took a bold stance against the UK’s Online Safety Act (OSA) age verification requirements, which it deemed unfair and inconsistently applied across the adult industry. The site previously limited access to only those users who had registered and verified their ages. However, Aylo’s recent announcement indicates a partial reversal of this policy, specifically targeting users on Apple devices who have updated to the latest iOS version.
