In a tell-all post that has sent shockwaves through the celebrity world, Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of football icon David Beckham and fashion mogul Victoria Beckham, has lifted the lid on a deeply personal family feud.
The 26-year-old has alleged that his parents have been relentlessly trying to “ruin” his relationship with his wife, actress and heiress Nicola Peltz, whom he married in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony in 2022. At the heart of the controversy is an “inappropriate” dance that Victoria Beckham performed with her son during the wedding reception, which left the bride “crying her eyes out”.
According to DJ Fat Tony, who was in attendance, the former Spice Girl took to the stage when singer Marc Anthony called for “the most beautiful woman in the room” to join Brooklyn for their first dance as a married couple. This unexpected move, the DJ claims, “devastated” the groom and prompted Nicola to leave the room in tears.
“Brooklyn is literally, like, devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife, then Nicola leaves the room crying her eyes out,” Fat Tony recounted during a recent TV interview.
The DJ further described the awkward moment when Marc Anthony instructed Brooklyn to “put your hands on your mother’s hips” as they danced, calling the entire situation “really awkward for everyone in the room”.
In his scathing social media post, Brooklyn also accused his parents of placing “countless lies in the media” and even attempting to “bribe” him into signing away the rights to his own name before the wedding. He stated unequivocally that he does not wish to reconcile with his family, declaring, “I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
The Beckham clan has yet to publicly respond to Brooklyn’s explosive claims, leaving many to wonder whether this high-profile family rift can ever be mended.
