On Friday, the U.S. Justice Department brought to light a series of allegations against Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, a 32-year-old Iraqi national, claiming he orchestrated the attack and has been linked to a broader wave of violence directed at American and Jewish targets worldwide.

Authorities allege that Al-Saadi, who is currently in U.S. custody, established an online terrorist group with connections to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
