On 29 July 2024, a hooded teenager turned a Taylor Swift-themed holiday club in Southport into the site of one of Britain’s most tragic mass assaults on children. The event resulted in the deaths of three young girls—Elsie Dot Stancombe, aged seven, Bebe King, six, and nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar—while eight other children and two adults sustained serious injuries.
