A recent wave of Russian missile and drone assaults has tragically claimed at least 18 lives, including two children, across Ukraine. This barrage, one of the most severe in recent months, has prompted significant international concern as the conflict escalates. President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks, which primarily targeted civilian infrastructure and energy facilities, leaving over 100 individuals injured.

Catastrophic Assaults Across Multiple Cities

The strikes occurred overnight, with Dnipro bearing the brunt of the devastation, where 12 fatalities were reported, including an eight-year-old boy and a woman retrieved from the rubble of a collapsed apartment block. The capital, Kyiv, was also heavily affected, registering six deaths amid widespread destruction of residential areas.
