Connor Russette, Peanut’s owner, had been anxiously searching for his three-and-a-half-foot companion since her unexpected disappearance in mid-May. The snake was located last month, prompting a heartwarming story of recovery and connection.
The Disappearance and Discovery
Peanut went missing from Russette’s home shortly after her evening feed on May 13. When he awoke the next morning, the enclosure was empty. “The first thing I noticed was the absence of my snake,” Russette recounted.
