“Business travellers often seek reliability and regular schedules, while leisure travellers are more inclined to consider fares,” Huang remarked, highlighting the complex factors influencing airport choice.

Jacques Roy, a logistics professor at HEC Montréal, also weighed in on the implications of the new terminal, suggesting it could be particularly appealing for residents of the South Shore. With Porter Airlines promising competitive pricing, the terminal may attract a demographic eager for affordable travel options without the need to navigate the busier Trudeau International Airport.
