“I have no TV in Castle Rock, Colorado, and I can’t even reach support via the app, phone, or text,” lamented one frustrated customer. Another user from Monmouth Beach, NJ, echoed similar sentiments: “Can’t even reach them on the phone. TV down, internet works.”

Comcast Responds with Apologies
In the face of this widespread disruption, Comcast released a statement addressing the situation. A spokesperson confirmed that the outage was due to a system update that went awry. “We had a brief service outage this afternoon due to a system update, but service was quickly restored and our customers are up and running now. We apologise for the inconvenience,” the spokesperson stated, providing some reassurance to anxious customers.
