Hansen’s artistic journey began in his youth, sparked by an encounter with a cedar waxwing in the Maryland woods. Since then, his passion for birds has flourished, leading him to establish a gallery in Bolinas in 1991. His dedication to the avian world has made him a respected figure in the ornithological community, and now he is applying his talent to the Flock app, designed by friends Adam Donkin and Bob Stevenson.
