The company is now actively venturing into plant-based milks, health shots, and low-calorie options to meet rising consumer demands for health-conscious products.

Euan Sutherland, CEO of AG Barr, expressed optimism about the company’s direction, stating, “Our top and bottom-line performance for full-year 2025-26 is in line with expectations, and importantly we have laid strong foundations for future growth.” With the recent acquisitions, AG Barr is well-positioned to leverage its existing market presence and innovate within the adult soft drinks segment.

The increasing popularity of mindful drinking is further evidenced by trends in Scotland, where the percentage of non-drinkers has surged from 11% in 2003 to 20% in 2024. Recent data indicates that overall alcohol consumption in Scotland has reached its lowest level in over two decades, a statistic that underscores the shifting landscape of consumer preferences.
