In recognition of his abilities, Kirk signed a five-year, US$58 million extension with Toronto in 2025. His accolades include an American League All-Star selection and a Silver Slugger Award in 2022, with another All-Star nod in 2025 solidifying his status.

I don’t have to change too much, but I have to do my homework well.”
