New Brunswick’s police oversight body has announced that a former Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer is now facing seven more charges linked to child exploitation. In addition, Bastarache faces charges for possession and production of child pornography, and for recruiting individuals under 18 for sexual services in exchange for money. His alleged actions also include communicating with the intent of obtaining sexual services from underage individuals and trafficking minors.
