Fulham are in talks to sign winger Oscar Bobb from fellow Premier League side Manchester City. The 22-year-old Norwegian has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium following the £62.5m signing of forward Antoine Semenyo this month.
Sources have confirmed to The Update Desk that discussions have taken place between the two clubs, although Fulham are yet to make a formal offer for Bobb. The player has also attracted interest from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
Bobb has featured 15 times for City this season without finding the back of the net. His last appearance came on 17 December against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, when he was forced off injured within the opening 20 minutes.
When asked about Bobb’s fitness, City manager Pep Guardiola said: “He says he is not fit, so he is not fit.”
Semenyo’s arrival has added further competition on the right wing, where Brazilian Savinho also plays, meaning Bobb may be allowed to depart the Etihad either on loan or in a permanent transfer this month.
Fulham, who currently sit 11th in the Premier League table, have lost just one of their last seven games under Marco Silva and have progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup. The signing of Bobb would see him reunited with compatriot Sander Berge at Craven Cottage.
The Norwegian international missed almost the entirety of last season after fracturing a bone in his leg during training in August 2024. However, he has featured six times for his national team this year, helping them qualify for this summer’s World Cup.
