On Monday, Brooks was sentenced to a ban after being caught in Barnard Castle last year. However, in a twist of irony, he chose to get into his vehicle parked at a Tesco store right next to the court. Witnessed by traffic officers, Brooks attempted to flee back into the car park upon spotting the police vehicle, but his efforts were in vain.
