A new report from business advisory firm BDO has revealed that the Premier League’s record revenues and transfer spending are obscuring deepening financial troubles plaguing clubs throughout the lower tiers of English football. The survey of finance directors at clubs across the top four divisions found that a staggering 90% expect to report pre-tax trading losses by 2025.
