Pub Offers Flu Shots to Boost Vaccination Rates

In a bid to increase flu vaccination coverage, the NHS is now offering jabs at a community pub in East Sussex. The pop-up clinic at The Bevy pub in Brighton aims to make it more convenient for residents to get protected against the virus this winter.

Across the county, only 52% of eligible people have received their free flu vaccination so far this season, representing around 506,000 residents. Health authorities are urging more people to come forward and prioritise their health, especially as flu activity has started earlier than expected and COVID-19 continues to pose a risk.
