Air France-KLM has announced plans to hike long-haul ticket prices, while Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has raised fares and plans to reduce flight schedules by 1,000 in April. British Airways’ parent company, International Airlines Group (IAG), is currently insulated from immediate price increases due to hedging strategies that lock in fuel costs at pre-conflict rates. However, EasyJet has warned of potential fare increases as its hedging agreements draw to a close towards summer.
