In a shocking turn of events, the Beckham family feud has reached a new level of intensity. Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has unleashed a scathing social media post, accusing his parents of “controlling” and “inappropriate” behaviour.

The 26-year-old has claimed that his mother, Victoria, “cancelled” making his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham’s wedding dress at the last minute, forcing her to urgently find a new gown. He also alleged that Victoria called him “evil” during the wedding planning process because he chose to seat his and Nicola’s grandparents at the top table rather than prioritising his parents.

These explosive claims have prompted renewed scrutiny of Victoria’s conduct at family events. A resurfaced anecdote from 2007 paints a surprising picture of the former Spice Girl. At a birthday party for one of their children, which was attended by David’s LA Galaxy teammates and their families, Victoria allegedly stole the show, not just among the adults, but with the children as well.

“I was playing with [Beckham’s] son on the inflatable trampoline and we were jumping, and then out of nowhere, I notice the kid’s mum come in, David’s wife, Victoria,” recalled Carlos Pavon Jr, the son of former Galaxy striker Carlos Pavon. “She started jumping with us and I was like, ‘I can’t believe I’m doing this with Victoria Beckham,’ so I think that was the funniest thing.”

Tensions within the Beckham family have reportedly been simmering for years, with the controversy surrounding Nicola’s wedding dress believed to be a major source of friction. Brooklyn has claimed that his parents have been “trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship with his wife, and that Nicola has been “consistently disrespected” by his family.

In a rare public statement, David Beckham acknowledged that his children have “made mistakes” on social media, but insisted that they are “allowed” to do so as part of the learning process.

“What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous. But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons,” the former England and Manchester United footballer told CNBC. “They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids.”

The Beckham family’s once-harmonious public image has been shattered, and the fallout from this feud continues to unfold. As the drama plays out, it remains to be seen whether the family can reconcile their differences and move forward.
