In a harrowing escalation of violence, Lebanon’s health ministry reported that Israeli airstrikes have claimed the lives of 39 individuals, marking a grim day in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. The strikes, predominantly targeting southern Lebanon, have also left at least 15 others injured, including three children, as tensions continue to rise in the region.

Casualties from Recent Strikes

The southern town of Saksakiyeh was among the hardest hit, where an Israeli airstrike killed at least seven people, including a young girl. Another attack in the city of Nabatieh tragically resulted in the death of a Syrian national and left his 12-year-old daughter in critical condition. According to local reports, the family was struck by a drone while trying to escape the scene of the first strike, with the drone targeting them multiple times. The girl is currently undergoing surgery in an effort to save her life.
