A tragic incident in north-west London has led to a murder investigation after a 15-year-old boy succumbed to injuries sustained in a stabbing. Jamal Ringrose was attacked on Saturday night and, despite receiving immediate medical attention, he died in hospital four days later, prompting police to intensify their inquiries.
Incident Overview
The stabbing occurred on Dudden Hill Lane in Dollis Hill at approximately 10.30pm on Saturday. Emergency services were swiftly dispatched to the scene, where they found Jamal suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was treated by paramedics before being rushed to a nearby hospital, but his condition deteriorated, ultimately resulting in his death on Thursday.
In the wake of this incident, authorities have informed Jamal’s family and are providing them with support through specialist officers, highlighting the devastating impact this tragedy has had on his loved ones.
Arrests Made
In connection with the investigation, a 15-year-old boy has been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He was arrested on Tuesday and appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court shortly thereafter. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old man were also apprehended on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. The teenage suspect remains in custody, while the older man has been released on bail as the investigation continues.

However, our work continues, and my team are pursuing several lines of inquiry.”
Call for Witnesses
Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance. Detective Ager urged anyone who was in the area at the time of the attack to come forward with information or any relevant footage. “We believe many people were in the area at the time and ask anyone with information or footage to come forward. In particular, we’re seeking dashcam or mobile phone recordings from the street at that time,” he added.
Witnesses or anyone who may have information that could aid the investigation are encouraged to contact police by calling 101 and quoting CAD 9258/30MAY, or to reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
