Josey Hollis Dorsey is set to make his cinematic debut alongside his father, actor Ryan Dorsey, in a new independent drama currently in production.
A New Chapter on the Big Screen
The young actor has been cast in The Burning Valley, a feature film written and directed by Evan Coury. Production is currently underway in Pennsylvania, with the father-and-son duo taking on the roles listed simply as “Father” and “Boy” in the film’s official cast breakdown. They will be joined on screen by Tyler Miles, who is portraying a character named Nick Pope.
This upcoming film appearance marks a natural progression for the ten-year-old, who already has a taste of the limelight. Back in 2024, Josey took to the stage for a theatrical production of Seussical Jr in West Virginia.
