Grooming Through Gaming
Tritta, residing in Bishopstoke, Eastleigh, Hampshire, initiated contact with the young girl from Manchester in September 2024. What began as innocent conversations on Roblox quickly spiralled into unsettling exchanges on other messaging platforms, including Snapchat, Discord, and WhatsApp. During these interactions, Tritta engaged in “highly sexualised” discussions and shared explicit images and videos with the victim.
The alarm was raised last August when the girl’s mother discovered the inappropriate messages and images on her daughter’s phone. This revelation led to Tritta’s arrest, but he subsequently breached his bail conditions by attempting to visit the girl’s home, pressuring her to retract her complaint.
Confrontation and Escalation
At Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court, prosecutor Rachel Yarwood detailed Tritta’s alarming behaviour. He not only entered the victim’s home uninvited but also confronted her despite her pleas for him to leave. Initially sentenced in December for perverting the course of justice—resulting in a 12-month suspended sentence—Tritta was arrested again just days later when he returned to the girl’s home, escalating his harassment.
