A novel personalised vaccine has demonstrated potential in preventing the recurrence of skin cancer in patients following surgical treatment, marking a significant step forward in cancer therapy. Developed by Merck & Co, known as MSD in Europe, and Moderna, the vaccine has shown encouraging preliminary results in patients with high-risk melanoma, although experts urge caution until further data is scrutinised by the scientific community.
