I feel like I have it… in my throat,” she confessed. This fungal infection, which typically affects the skin, nails, or hair, has garnered attention recently due to emerging forms that are sexually transmissible. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has noted that awareness around this condition is limited, something that Ann confirmed during their conversation.
