The victims, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, 42, known affectionately as Zandile, along with her daughters Natalie, 15, and Nala, just five years old, were discovered deceased in their home on Carnoustie Drive, Great Denham. The police found the family in their £1.3 million detached residence after conducting a welfare check.
Emma Davies, Chief Crown Prosecutor with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), stated, “The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised three charges of murder against Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma following the deaths of his wife and two daughters. Our thoughts remain with Zandile, Natalie, and Nala’s loved ones.”

Tshuma, who holds British citizenship and is of Zimbabwean descent, was arrested in Kensington, Johannesburg, following a coordinated operation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, including the South African Police Service (SAPS) and Interpol. The SAPS confirmed that Tshuma was located and detained due to meticulous intelligence work and operational coordination.
Lieutenant General Puleng Dimpane, Acting National Commissioner of the SAPS, emphasised, “This arrest demonstrates that South Africa is not a safe haven for fugitives. Anyone who thinks they can escape justice by fleeing to our country should know that SAPS will work tirelessly with international partners to trace, locate, and arrest them.”
