Comprehensive Drone Package to Enhance Combat Efforts
In parallel with the financial support, Defence Secretary John Healey is set to present the UK’s largest drone initiative to date at a forthcoming meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG). This ambitious programme will see the delivery of 120,000 drones, which will include long-range strike capabilities, reconnaissance assets, logistics support, and maritime drones, with a significant portion produced by UK firms. Healey remarked, “This big boost of battle-proven drones will give Ukrainian forces the capability they need to defend their people and fight back against Russian aggression.”
